Jennifer Holtzman, Graduate student in the Biopharmaceutical Sciences Program: doctoral candidate at Yale University

The Biopharmaceutical Sciences program (BPS) is an interdisciplinary program in the health related sciences. It has TWO OPTIONS:

Depending on the Option, graduates will have gained in depth knowledge of one or more of the following areas: microbiology, molecular biology, pharmacology, genomics, bioinformatics, organic, medicinal and biological chemistry.

Life-saving, Life-enhancing
As a BPS graduate, you will be able to participate in many aspects involved in the development of life-saving or life-enhancing drugs. Such discoveries depend on our ability to understand both the biochemical pathways responsible for diseases and the chemistry required to design and synthesize drugs that mediate these interactions. The BPS program is designed to give students the background to enable them to contribute to the advancement of these important goals.
